Steepland String Band, "Lady Luck"

April 10, 2017

Steepland String Band was created around the love for and dedication to live music, and since their inception, they have committed themselves to creating a unique style of their own. These pickers have managed to carve out a niche in a genre of increasingly similar sounds by drawing from an extensive library of covers and a continually expanding catalogue of original material, treating each show as a unique experience that successfully engages audiences and keeps them coming back for more.

From the slap-style upright bass to the piercing mandolin solos, Scruggs-style banjo rolls, driving guitar leads and lonesome single-mic vocal harmonies, Steepland String Band is definitely right at home in Colorado’s community of progressive acoustic aficionados and dedicated bluegrass show-goers.

Steepland String Band recently released Pie, their latest collection of hard pickin' songs for the soul. Listen to - or better yet purchase - the new album, will ya?!

We're pleased to bring you the first track off of the album, "Lady Luck." Enjoy!
