Sqwerv Closes Summer Tour with Three Wisconsin Dates

Sqwerv is closing out its summer tour with a Wisconsin-focused stretch that should be firmly on the radar for Midwest jam fans. The Denver-based band rolls through the Badger State this week with three Wisconsin appearances, including two shared bills with Dangermuffin — Thursday, July 16 at The Argo in Whitefish Bay and Saturday, July 18 at The Bur Oak in Madison — along with a stop at Highbridge Hills Disc Golf Jamboree 2026 in Highbridge.

The Argo date sets the tone for the run, bringing Sqwerv and Dangermuffin into an intimate Milwaukee-area room that feels especially well-matched for groove-forward, jam-friendly live music. For fans in and around Milwaukee, The Argo is quickly becoming a venue worth keeping on the radar. Its calendar already leans into funk, bluegrass, improvisational rock, and adjacent sounds that fit naturally within the COjam orbit, offering a space for sonic exploration and community. Thursday night offers a chance to catch both bands up close before the weekend stretches into a broader Wisconsin run.

From there, Sqwerv heads north for Highbridge Hills Disc Golf Jamboree 2026, running July 16–19 in Highbridge, Wisconsin. The weekend blends live music, camping, and disc golf into the kind of community-driven festival setting where a band like Sqwerv can stretch beyond the limits of a standard club set. The lineup also includes Man Man, Sneezy, Feed the Dog, Dangermuffin, Heatbox, Chicken Wire Empire, Dig Deep, Twine, Brotherhood of Birds, Bamm, Dandelion Delivery Service, and more, giving the weekend a broad jam-, roots-, funk-, bluegrass-, and groove-friendly footprint. For fans following Sqwerv through the Midwest, the contrast between The Argo and Highbridge offers two very different ways to experience the group: one up close in a venue, the other in a full weekend outdoor gathering.

The Wisconsin stretch continues Saturday, July 18, when Sqwerv and Dangermuffin share another bill at The Bur Oak in Madison. Taken together, the three appearances give Sqwerv a meaningful Midwest close to its summer run before the band picks things back up in the fall with shows out West, including stops in Seattle, Portland, Boise, and a two-night Halloween stand at Globe Hall in the band’s hometown of Denver.

Looking further ahead, Sqwerv is also scheduled to appear on Jam Cruise 23, sailing February 4–10, 2027 out of Miami. For a band that continues to build momentum through touring, live recordings, festival appearances, and word-of-mouth support from the jam community, this Wisconsin stretch feels like more than a few isolated dates… it feels like a snapshot of a band actively expanding its reach while staying connected to the kinds of rooms, festivals, and fans that make this scene work.

COjam will be in the room at The Argo with photo coverage for the July 16 show. Tickets are available for all three Wisconsin dates.
