On Sunday, June 14, Trey Anastasio rolled through Big Top Chautauqua, a.k.a. “The Big Tent,” for his first stroll through northern Wisconsin. Joined by pianist Jeff Tanski, the performance felt every bit as aligned with the setting as the routing had suggested. Under the tent in Bayfield, with Lake Superior in the background and the Apostle Islands nearby, the show offered a wide-ranging setlist that balanced beloved Phish staples, reflective ballads, and a handful of fan-favorite deep cuts.
